Every Avenue is now recording!

Every Avenue is in the studio now with producers Kenneth Mount and Zach Odom (Cartel, Mayday Parade) recording their debut LP for Fearless Records. Check out the first blog written from the guys!

In-Studio blog #1:

Mike - We went through pre-production and I got all my drum parts figured out for all the songs, it's been really awesome. I've been playing drums like crazzzzzy, 8+ hours a day. I'm so pumped to sleep after I'm done tracking. Chick-fil-A has the best shakes ever, and I smell super bad.

Josh- It's been a lot of long days but I am sooooo pumped for the new CD. The other night we met up with our friends in Holiday Parade and Mercy Mercedes because they happened to be playing in town. Dave, Jimmie and myself went to a rave afterwards. I created a dance move called the defibrillator. We got kicked off stage. Please send me money.

Jimmie- Today was the last day of pre-production.. tomorrow mike starts tracking drums for the album!!! I can't say how excited we all our for the album and how pumped we are for everyone to hear what we've been up to! The studio we're recording in is a dream come true... josh keeps trying to hump me in the hotel bed ... i'm not sure how much longer i can fend him off. Keep checking our myspace and keeping in touch with us on here while we're out here in the peach state!

Dave- My hands are really clammy right now and its making cams computer disgusting... my computer sucks and get pop ups like crazy because of the mass amount of porn I look at... our van is still broke down in Ohio. we went to the studio today and I took a poop.. it was amazing. me and Jimmie share a bed at our hotel and he lives in my basement.. Other than that Atlanta has been amazing and we couldn't be more excited to be making this album. Thanks again to all our fans. We couldn't do any of this without you!

Cam- Well after the whole van breaking down and being stuck in Bowling Green, OH for two days things have taken a turn for the better. Pre-production has been exhausting, but a lot of fun at the same time. The direction Zack and Kenneth have taken some of our ideas are making us very excited about hearing the final product. The next few days will be rehearsal for me, so I'm all ready to lay my bass tracks down. My goal is to get accepted into a rappers entourage while were in the studio, so I'm going to buy a lot of bling and ice.
